Facebook Monetises Video Game Live Streamers
Facebook Live will launch an option that allows users to tip video creators via the desktop site. Known as “fan support”, Facebook hopes this will encourage game streamers towards Facebook streaming and away from other channels such as YouTube and Twitch.

Apple Adds New Medical Record Feature
Apple has announced its plan to launch a new Health Record section within the iPhone. The aim is to allow easy collection of individuals’ personal medical records in an easily assessable location. Apple plans on partnering with hospitals and clinics so medical information can be sent directly to iPhone owners’ phones. Apple faces a massive task of convincing single hospitals and clinics to pass this information onto users. Although this is currently only available in a select few places in the US, this could potentially be available in Australia soon.
